HORZE Women's Denim Full Seat Breeches - Equestrian Riding Pants for Horseback Riding & Show Jumping

Fit: I am 5'3", 125lbs, and have a curvy/ hourglass figure (waist is 10-12" smaller than hips. I usally fall in between a petite and regular length. The length on these was great for me (probably a little shorter than most pants are). The bottom and leg fit well, but the waist and belly were really huge. Also there is not enough stretch in the knee area and crotch. The fit on these would be good for many things, but it is not good for a sport. They either need more stretch for mobility, or a gusseted crotch and articulated knees. All the seams are flat-felled, so altering them would be hard. I could try sizing up, but the waist is already huge. For a pear or Humpty Dumpty figure (all your weight is in your belly but you have skinny legs), these would be great.Look: These are cute jeans. The uniform dark wash is slimming. The black stretch patch on the inside of the lower leg is ugly, and will look dumb with low paddock boots or Blundstones. Somehow I didn't see that before ordering.Features: The silicone grip is a little on the light / minimal side. All five pockets work. The front pockets are really deep, so they are handy while not riding The watch pocket is really long and narrow. Probably great for a lip gloss or chapstick. The rear pockets are limited due to the construction, but I could get my hand in them.
