Like the deep thigh pocket but not the zipper on the pocket. It's deep enough for any phone. Really could use one on the other side, too, to isolate some things I carry. Who wants a hoof pick in with their phone??Super soft. Super comfy. Pretty darned warm.BUT...I thought the silicon was sticky enough when it slowed me down getting out of the car (leather seat) LOL. But when I tried the barn owner's dressage saddle, it was as slick as glass! I'm really confused by this. I have a suede seat on my saddle, so this was never an issue before. I'll be using her saddle for a while so I debated on whether it's just that saddle or the lack of silicon against the suede, should I return them, etc. It comes down to: yes they're expensive, but they're soooo comfy.These run long and large.I originally ordered the knee patch version of these tights from Kerrits and they fit well in my usual size, they were very comfortable and really warm, but the fabric was slippery and I didn't think I'd feel secure in the saddle. It's basically like sweatpants material. So I returned the knee patch and ordered this full seat version in the same size, but they're not the same pants. The full seat tights are much looser in the legs and longer than the knee patch tights and also come up much higher on my waist.I'm super bummed, I really wanted a full seat version of exactly the same pants I tried before. I'm not sure I could size down in the full seat--they fit in the waist, but were too big everywhere else. I don't understand why they're not the same pants, with other Kerrits tights, like the Icefil, the knee patch and the full seat are identical in every way except the grip. Booooo!So disappointed that I didn’t return these. I love Kerrits tights and have always worn a small. These run long and bigger overall. Wish I hadn’t worn and could return for an XS.I love Kerrits products in general and these are no exception. The seat is really grippy, but not unduly so. They are awesomely warm for winter riding. I want these tights in a summer weight... In fact, on very cold days I tend to want to wear them even if I am not riding. I LOVE the higher waist band so I am not constantly tugging at them. Beautiful fit. And love the zip pocket on the side of the leg. Perfect for a treat. Or I suppose if you must ride with your phone...but the boy says skip the phone and put in more treats.Its got a pocket! its got a really great pocket that can fit a large cell phone. Many pants don't have this simple invention for some reason.The pants have amazing grip on a leather saddle so you wont be sliding around at all. Until you are used to it, it can actually make mounting a little harder as you cant plop your butt down until you are centered because if you get contact off center you wont be able to slide to the center until you can lift yourself back off the saddle.anyway great pants and a great fit.Wish I'd found these years ago! These breeches are so darn comfy...normally I head right in and change after riding but find myself wearing them way beyond ride time. Love the large side pocket too (not sure why all other breeches don't do this yet). The silicone grip is great too (not really a fan of suede anymore). I've been riding in high 20's/30's temps and my legs aren't cold. Not sure how warm they'd be in colder stuff but I rarely ride in that kind of cold anyway. Thumbs up KerrittsLove these for the cooler weather. I had the same thing in knee patch so figured I'd love these too. Just switched from a wintec to a leather saddle so wanted full seat. I'm 108 lbs and the small fits great. Like wearing yoga pants. Except you stick to things on the seat. The phone pocket is super handy. I think all tights should come with a phone pocket these days. One Stop Equine has been great to deal with as I've tried several tights. These are keepers.Im really pleased with these jodhpurs! They are a great fit, warm and really comfortable. I would definitely recommend them!Love Kerrit's tights. This pair is very thick/heavy weight - good for winter but too warm for milder weather. Fits a bit snugger than other 2X Kerrits tights I've ordered.
